Warranty and basic terms
Warranty
- The standard warranty period is 1 year, unless otherwise stated or agreed
- Should the products, as delivered, within one (1) year from delivery be shown to be defective due to defaults in material or manufacturing, Bereila undertakes, at its own option:
(i) to make a replacement delivery,
(ii) to repair or rework the products claimed to be defective, or
(iii) to accept return of such products and refund such proportion of the purchase sum received as corresponds to the returned products.
- Warranty is limited to defaults in material or manufacturing, unless otherwise, explicitly agreed.
Delivery
- All deliveries will be made EXW Bedum NL (Incoterms 2025)
- Transport can be provided by Bereila and executed by its contracted forwarding parties.
- Freight costs will be charged by Bereila on the invoice of the shipment.
Payment
- Payment must take place within 14 days of the invoice date, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
Return Shipment
- Return shipments are only credited after prior consultation and written consent by Bereila.
- Return shipments must be accompanied by an accompanying letter mentioning the sender and the reason for return.
- A C/N will only be issued if the return shipment concerns standard Bereila products and the goods are received completely unused and undamaged by Bereila. Crediting takes place with deduction of return charges, to compensate the costs for inspection and handling. Return charges are 10% of the net purchase value, with a minimum of Euro 25.00 and a maximum of Euro 125.00.
